Today was the national feestdag in Belgium, and it was the lokale keniaanse feestdag voor me. This is because Herman let me fly my first solo.
First i had a check flight which was good. Then I had to fly again and the tow plane turned at 75m (ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Herman pulled the cable lose at 150m. It was a successful flight.
The third flight was the worst. I was filled with adrenalin from when Herman pulled the cable lose. Herman told me to do my checklist out loud. After wards he said are you feeling better now? I said yes. Then he said ok let me step out, so he did and I got even more stressed. Then he calmed me down again. And took off. The whole flight went very well but my hands were shaking because of the adrenalin. The landing went very well.
Then it was time for my second solo flight. I was a lot more calm this flight and everything went really good, even better than the first time! Then everyone came to congratulate me.
It was a great experience and Friday I get baptized (yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!)
Greetings,
Matthew!
Come to Albatros Zweefclub to learn how to fly very well!!!!!!!!!!
